DOWN WITH DYSTOPIA : I AM SEARCHING FOR THE LIGHT

For those of you who follow my work you may have noticed that it has been spiralling off on lots of abstract tangents, much like the jet-stream I have become diffuse and confused. Last years calendar had some pretty far-out (non landscape) images in it and these were very well received. It's so nice to receive messages through the year as folk flip the calendar over and marvel at a shagging caravan or an inspirational trolley. So 2025 continues to explore the multi genre aspect that my photography has taken on. In truth I have made very few trips to take landscape photos this year, against all the odds the music industry has made a strong bounce back in 2024 and this year I have mostly been taking photos of musicians. It's been a joy to have been involved in so many fresh and important creative projects and it's such a relief to see the creative industries pushing back forcefully at the corporate hell-scape which seems intent on destroying us. Rebellion is often sparked from the artists and we will not give in! oh to be the warrior poet and shatter the shackles of burgeoning oligarchy.

The postcards were very well received last year, so they are back. I was happy to hear that some folk actually posted them on to some other folk, so working as designed ;) Interaction in 3 dimensions is so great isn't it? Let's keep it going...

As always i will try a new method of hand finishing the presentation box, so keep posted for that burst of creative experimentation. I am currently writing the text and stories for the vellum, I have already purged my negative demons in the first draft, second draft will be more positive, because in truth; despite many set backs and jabs to the ribs, 2024 has been a pretty good year for me and I have a feeling 2025 will be even better. Let the world burn if it keeps ya warm eh?
