This is a free painting in that I just started painting with no frame of reference, started with a big white blob that ended up looking like a polar bear, stuck a woman’s face in it’s mouth. Job done… I am really happy with the female face here.

I just really love it, it’s beautful and weird, accomplished yet satisfyingly slapdash, meaningful yet kooky and unsettled. Please please keep on doing your own wild thing and don’t let anybody stop you, be very careful of soliciting anyone’s opinion for you have something that’s both really good and your own (difficult combo to find) and that is rare and good. So many artists are either skilled but unoriginal or visionary but incompetent. Keep making.

This made me actually cringe, and that's why I love it. It's painted well, technically. The content is very unsettling.
