🔴 Half - Light 2 - 80x30cm - Oil on canvas

Part of my Half-Light series… This atmospheric panoramic has been achieved with the lush and incredibly satisfying properties of oil paint and linseed oil. Mixing the pigments with the linseed oil creates this viscous lustre that takes to the canvas in such a beautiful way, I can get so lost in the action of blending the colours with gentle swirls and fast, light fan brush swishes. It’s very enjoyable and produces a beautiful lustre that I have not been able to achieve with any other method. Adding water and spray paint gives that abstract, modernist vibe which I’m always keen to have on the go. The foreground is created with bold and confident swipes of super black on a square pallete knife.

Available for pick up in Glasgow but can be crated and shipped at the buyers expense, can also be framed (in house) for about £80.
