🔴 Follow The Damh, Stac Polly - Acrylic on Board - 58 x 57cm

Stac Pollaidh… from a rarely visited crag. I was led here by two Damh (young stags)… Followed them for a while but they lost me amongst the birch on the steep side of Loch Call na Ùidhean. I’ve based this painting off a photo I took that day… Kinda faffed it in my hungover state, and didn’t take account of my frame lines. Cut out the nice wee sliver of Loch on the right hand side there, so I’m happy to have been able to reinstate it for the painting. I’ll be back here over and over no doubt; I think it’s a cool composition and I’ll try my damdest to get the photo right next time.
