I was up the Bad a’ Ghaill watching the weather streak across Assynt and noticed big shadows cut across the sky a few times. Think it might be the hills casting their shadows onto the snow flurries? It’s likely I’ll never forget that day. At points, the weather was so cold and violent that I got butterflies in my stomach. Such an invigorating assault; sobering and actually awesome. After a week of adventuring, I really struggled to adjust to ‘real’ life back in the city and at the computer.
