I suppose this painting looks like January feels.

I’ve spent a long time around this mountain in the dark, taking star photos, freaking out tourists and stags. Had some great times up here with my pal Mini who passed away last year.

I’ve always tried to depict this mountain as it feels. Guarding and watchful, it has a faithful demeanour and marks a change in geography. I’m of the opinion this mountain gets it name because the land to the north of it is prime ground for hiding stolen cattle. It does also visually resemble a shepherd from certain angles with a hooded face and two arms holding a crook to its left. Regardless I canna put words in the mouths of my ancestors any more than they can put words in mine.

Painting has a low price due to the fact that January has been a slow month and the taxman took most of my exhibition profit.

Collection very much preferred. Can be crated and couriered at buyers expense.
