An Illustrator in the archives

For some reason I seem to be making big inroads to the Illustration keyword on Google. Why I'm not sure as I've not got a great deal of illustration on the site - S.E.O is a petty little circus of popularity, is it not? Not to mention it's corrosive effects on the craft of writing. I've always been an illustrator, since I could hold a pencil, some of my fondest memories of child hood are getting taught to draw by my Mum and my Grapdpa Scott.I still draw all the time, mainly these weird faces that seem to just come out of nowhere, I just start drawing lines and before you know it I've got a wee character in front of me. However people seem to like the photos more these days, whatever; it'll come round again.You have to be pragmatic in the creative industries and do what the people want. As the crofters from the isles say, "diversification, diversification." At the end of the day it's nice to doodle without somebody asking you to tweak it, or as in the case of a lot these images, that's just not what we're looking for.So in brief here are some of my favourites from the past some of these got used some of them didn't.SAFE
