Tune Book - Album Art - In the Studio Video & Web design

Tunebook, the concept is simple, a collection of artists who are famed for their tune writing, namely Ross Ainslie, Simon Bradley and Mairearad Green. I don't think I'm going to far when I say these folks are approaching living legend status in the scottish trad world am I?I had the privilege of not only drawing this radical album art, I also got to witness the recording process first hand in recording the promo video. It was lovely craic and oh my god, how nice is gorbals sound, plush is not the word. Palatial is perhaps a better description. The results speak for themselves, the album sounds warm, lush and totally realistic. Realistic maybe a strange word to describe the sound of an album but these days, even in acoustic music the amount of comping and editing makes my blood boil. This is a bunch of very accomplished musicians playing original compositions, all together in one room.
