Sorenzo Props - Logo Design 2014

So my local god of thunder required an upgrade to his somewhat generic and conservative logo design of yore.So we went for complete randomness, inspired by 1980's desert chrome logos and dystopian post apocalyptic robot societies imagined from the perspective of a 1980's Miami beat cop / screen writer who was down on his luck. With this in mind we ended up with a design that was inspired mainly by the androgynous, funk master and violent egomaniac, Rick James. Underneath you can see the slightly less outlandish options he was presented with and I am very happy that the man went for the most radical, least readable and most individual option. Sometimes subtle use ability is just so lame. In fact I am a firm believer in the Prince form of branding, in which you write nothing, use no standard forms and just expect people to get it. Rick James would act proud , then rub his dirty boots all over my sofa. We also managed to work in some sort of alien glyph that is the negative space of the logo reversed out.So aye, website is under construction and I expect me and Thunder chops here will have lots of radical craic this year, with all his various prop based, geek enabling high jinx.
