Peter Gillies - Artists Logo / Website

This is for one of the Home boys. Peter Gillies is from the south side of Loch Ness but I don't hold it against him. In fact it is to his total credit. A brilliant artist with a distinctly Japanese / Snecher style his work is pretty unmistakable and thoroughly unique. Being from the the south of Loch Ness Gillies has been conditioned to love the woods, the woods there are fantastic and Peter does a great job of interpreting the feeling that you get in these places. I'm a big fan of woods where ever they are, so I know what it feels like to be at peace amongst the trees. I might come across as some tree hugging hippy here but I care not a jot, I love the woods so does Gillies and he does a fantastic job of conveying the joy that can be found when surrounded by such majesty.Pete also makes really smart stained glass windows and his skill is plain to see. You should go a visit him at the Hidden Lane where he has his workshop. You won't regret it, the original paintings are a joy to behold in reality and he always has some top quality music on the go.
