Mountain Bike Photography 2011

So with the world cup DH victory sealed by Aaron Gwin and the World Champs imminent it's safe to say the mtb season is almost over. I've had a poor year for hitting the trails, work has superseded fun and physical development / maintenance. My legs hurt more than ever, mainly from sitting down to much but i am confident i will manage and need to get out and beast myself in the slower paced darkness of winter. So here's a few of the pictures that I managed to get this year at the MacAvalanche, World Cup Fort William and Ten Under the Ben. Mountain Bike photography is a cruel mistress, generally when you're out on your bike you just wan't to ride not stop and faff around with cameras but you know, I like to suffer for my art so I do. Here's to a fearsome winter of mud, blood and gears. RAAAR.
