Mans Ruin - Album Artwork

Here's the latest Album Artwork for Mans Ruin, Glasgow's premier Funk, Folk, beat combo. We went for an androgynous lady spewing fire out of her drones, it seemed to fit the title well, an eligible over stylised font to keep up the tradition of the 70's funk soldiers and their radical aesthetic. We had a little trouble getting the colours as hot as we wanted but the printers came through in the end. BOOM!I think Mans Ruin are the only band in existence that play real straight up electric funk with highland bagpipes and fair play to them, it sounds good. I spent a few nights in the studio - LA-Chunky - while they were recording to take photos and film the video. We had a total blast, mighty craic, a good dose of true funk and some wild flights of unbridled hysteria whilst filming.
