The Insider Festival 2011

With some filming in process for the band Mans Ruin myself and Misha Somerville headed up to Inshriach to get some gig footage in the can. We arrived to an amazing scene, the festival could not be in a more idyllic spot, with rivers, ancient tress and natural amphitheatres it makes for an ideal set-up. The guys were playing in a little woodshed complete with tin roof, saw dust floor and strimmer, the stage was tiny and the band were crammed in but we still got in there and got the shots.I had every intention to head out to the hills but old friends craic and good music held me on site all weekend. Milling about the place with camera in hand I caught a few of the sights of this spectacular event, hopefully I'll make it back next year. I'm not usually a fan of big festivals but the Insider festival seems to have got the balance between crowds, space, location and entertainment spot on.Cool website too.http://www.insiderfestival.com/
