Hamish Napier - Solo artist photography

So Hamish is a long time cohort, both musically and craic wise. It's hard for me to write about him with any sense of detachment as I know his character and idiosyncrasies very well indeed. So I will save my rant for the post on his new album 'The River'. Which is an exceptional piece of work, genuine, complex and meticulously crafted. Some of these pictures were taken as part of the Nae Plans project which is a project you should definitely check out. It really is art!http://www.naeplans.co.uk/I think it is clear from some of these pictures how much fun we have had with it and although it has not proved a particularly popular project I believe it to be of cultural and artistic merit that few projects can rival. We've also got some rather more staid images here to promote his new album and they looked great in the papers, it's always nice to see your work in a broadsheet & it goes to show that we can project an image of normality if we try.
