Beasties

Me and the Kids have been outside enjoying the sun and stotting around the woods. The Kids are fascinated by beasties and I can see why. They are amazingly intricate colourful characters and when you get up close you can really appreciate what marvels of nature these wee pests are. It strikes me that these days there is a propensity to want to squash and eradicate everything that isn't fuzzy and cuddly or on some sort of endangered list but I think it's important to make sure the kids can recognise how amazing and important these little beasties are to our environment.
