John Goldie had a nice wee interview on Jazz House – Radio Scotland the other night. The presenter Steven Duffy inroduced the item by saying ….

“I have in my hand a superb piece of artwork, adorning the cover of your new cd open for closure, a very special piece of work all round.”

Nice wee compliment for the schmo there.

Just recieved the finished John Goldie CD and it’s looks great. Once more the Austrians at SontDADC have come up trumps with a great quality of print.

The music kind of took my be suprise, it’s a very eclectic album with wacky Jazz tracks with a full on band to solo guitar pieces which kind of defy genre. Well chuffed to have been involved in the project. For more info on the project please visit;

Here’s the portrait for celtic super group the treacherous orchestra. A frenetic pencil drawing to reflect the rable which is bound to ensue. This will be used in the celtic connections programme, in place of a photo for the bands upcoming dates at the festival.

Just finished the website for the shee. They are an all girl group from scotland and england. Specializing in a very fresh and tight brand of folk.

I just coded and designed the site layout, the graphics had been done by Lauren Bishop for the album sleeve. Lauren is currently one of the countries most in demand fashion illustrators.

The site is a basic layout. incrporating all the bands info into one page seperated into AP divs. This allows the content to scroll. There is a simple flash audio player with play/pause control and cd sales are dealt with by paypal.
